Macmillan Coffee Morning - 30 September

The coffee morning held on 30th September at 11:00am as part of Macmillan Cancer Support's worldwide annual event was a great success

There was an array of luscious cakes, made and donated by some of our very generous bakers plus the usual bottomless coffee. There was Gluten Free and Dairy Free of course to cater for all needs.

Thank you to Viv for contacting our faithful cake makers. Thank you for the delicious cakes donated by Adel, Anne, Beth, Carol, Heather, Ian, Jenice, Liza, Trudy and Viv.

As an extra attraction, our very own 'Strings Ahoy' played and sang for us, whilst we enjoyed our cakes, coffee and good company. Thank you to Strings Ahoy for entertaining us and ensuring we all went home humming a song!

This was all be completely free of charge, and today we managed to raise £206.13 (including 'Gift Aid' of £29.63) for Macmillan Cancer Support. We have also raised an additional £50 through the online portal.
