Using Programme

Note:

• (1) Some screens and menus will be displayed differently on a smartphone (see HELP/Using a Smartphone - here)
• (2) You may come across the word Calendar used in place of Programme.

Upcoming Events

On the Home page you will find a table of Upcoming Events.

These appear on the right side of the Home page when viewed 'landscape' or below the News items when the Home page is viewed 'portrait. The table shows the (approximately) 20 most imminent events from the Programme.

Each entry in the table links to an Event Webpage which may provide details of the event.

Programme

Access to the Programme is via the PROGRAMME button within the main menu. This opens the Upcoming programme, a table containing every event from today forwards. Each entry in the table links to an Event Webpage which may provide details of the event.

An alternative presentation of the Programme is available by selecting Month view. In this view, you also have the facility to step back to view previous months and previous years (see below).

Filtering (eg to see 'Cruising' events or those involving Crew 4 only)

At the top of the Programme table is a row of buttons titled Types and another row representing event Tags ("Coaching Crew", "Crew 1", "Crew 2", etc). If you are not logged in, your will see this prompt instead:

If you select Type Cruising, only cruising events will be visible in the Programme table. You may use this method to see the Social Programme or the Practice Sailing Programme, etc.

If you select Crew 4, only events that have Crew 4 assigned as Duty Crew will be visible in the Programme table.

Note: Selecting Racing and Social together will provide a table with all upcoming Racing and Social events. However, selecting Crew 4 and Crew 5 together will produce an empty table. You must deselect one Crew before selecting another.

How to See Previous Events

It is possible to see events from the past. You must be in Month view. Then by continuous use of the month buttons, you can step backwards one month at a time all the way to 2019.

Subscribing

The Subscribe button is visible on the right above the Programme in Upcoming view. If you are logged in and click the Subscribe button, you will be offered a link that will add the programme to your devices calendar app.

Event Webpages

Event webpages can be opened by selecting (clicking or tapping) a line in Upcoming Events or in the Programme. Links from other webpages eg News articles, or from within a Club email may also open an Event webpage.

Event webpages provide details of an event including links to any other relevant webpages such as WebCollect.

If you are Logged in, you can see the part of the Duty Roster that contains duties relating to the event.
