Macmillan Coffee Morning - attendance and donation records broken

Our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 27 September was an amazing success! A record 55 to 60 people (too many to count!) enjoyed superb cakes and coffee while being entertained with a medley of popular songs from "Strings Ahoy".

With donations still coming in, the total raised for Macmillan Cancer Support this year, including gift aid, is currently more than £426, well in excess of the previous record which was set last year.

You can still donate online using this link: Seafarers Macmillan Portal. Using the portal, you will also be expected to make a donation ("Tip") to Just Giving; this is adjustable. You will be offered an opportunity to "Gift Aid" your donation. This adds 25% to your donation at no extra cost.
