Macmillan Coffee Morning - 26 September

Since 2013, the coffee morning at Seafarers in September has been part of Macmillan Cancer's worldwide annual event. In that time, our coffee mornings have raised approximately £2,225 for the charity.

This year's Macmillan Coffee morning will in the Clubhouse on Friday 26 September from 11:00 to 12:00.

In addition to the usual (exceptional quality) filter coffee, there will be some very tasty cakes available for members and their guests (including gluten and dairy free cakes). All of this will be totally free but we hope you will feel inclined to make a donation to Macmillan Cancer.

'Strings Ahoy' will also be performing for us.

There will be a collection box for your donations at the clubhouse on the day; we can accept cash or cheques. Alternatively, you can donate at any time online using this link: Seafarers Macmillan Portal. Using the portal, you will also be expected to make a donation ("Tip") to Just Giving; this is adjustable. You will be offered an opportunity to "Gift Aid" your donation. This adds 25% to your donation at no extra cost to you. You may revisit this portal at any time to see the latest total of Club donations.

Last year the total donated to MacMillan Cancer Support was approximately £425. Let's aim to do even better this year.
