Hamble Regatta - A Great Success for Seafarers

It was a very enjoyable day for the Seafarers SC Rowers when they competed in a race against 10 other Bursledon Gigs from local clubs at the Hamble Valley Regatta on Saturday 7 September. All of the clubs taking part having been rowing and competing against other clubs for many years so have accumulated a lot of experience.

It was therefore pleasing that the Seafarers finished only 9 minutes behind the eventual winners.

The team was Kay Wadham, Carol Wealthy, Samantha Leary, Mark Ransome and John Hamon.
