Trafalgar Night - 17 October

Join us for a traditional formal evening celebrating Admiral Lord Nelson's victory at Trafalgar in 1805.

The Battle of Trafalgar (21 October 1805) was a decisive naval engagement in the Napoleonic Wars, where Admiral Horatio Nelson led the Royal Navy to a major victory over the combined FrenchSpanish fleet. The battle reshaped European naval power for a century.

Enjoy a sumptuous meal and atmosphere - and there will be Port for the toasts!

Starter - Pork Liver Pate and/or Mushroom Pate with bread
Main - Slow cooked beef casserole with mashed potatoes
Pudding - Raspberry tart and cream
Cheese and biscuits

The meal will be followed by - "The Immortal Memory" and a toast.

Dress code ---- formal / smart ---- black tie / lounge suit ------- medals may be worn / optional.

Report for duty from 19.00 with the meal commencing at about 19.30.

Members only ----- then guests after Wed. 7 October.

Closing date - Wednesday 14 October at midnight. A reserve list will be run if needed
