Bursledon Gig Evaluation - 2 December 2023

On Saturday 2 December, Amanda and Jim from Hamble River Rowers brought their Burseldon Gig down to the Club for Members to evaluate. They were able to answer questions about the boat and extol the joys of communal rowing.

The question of "Investing in a Burseldon Gig" was raised at the AGM, and the Committee are exploring how this might encourage more people to join the Club. It is not a case of people giving up sailing, or even competing with it, but more a case of encouraging those who might want to venture onto the water in a different way.
