2023 ILCA Open

Seafarers Sailing Club held an Open Meeting for ILCA dinghies on Sunday 25 June 2023. A total of 26 competitors from 8 Clubs, including 11 from Seafarers, enjoyed the excellent conditions. This was the first open meeting held at the Club since the Solo and Streaker Open of August 2012.

A training session was run on Saturday 24 June coached by David "Sid" Howlett, a British sailor who competed at the 1976 and 1992 Olympics. He went on to coaching supporting both Iain Percy and Ben Ainslie to Olympic Gold.
