Tuesday Talk - Hampshire Search and Rescue
Hampshire Search and Rescue (HANTSAR) is a Lowland Rescue team charity providing assistance to the police and others when searching for high risk, vulnerable, missing people of all ages. It is entirely staffed by volunteers who receive professional training to police standard in search techniques, first aid, map reading, radio operation, search planning and management of scenes of crime. In 2011 HANTSAR received the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.
Their Vice Chair and Public Profile Officer - Trevor Vidler - will be giving an interesting talk, full of background information.
The talk is free. You can just turn up on the night but it would be appreciated if you could book via WebCollect (here) to provide an indication of the number attending. Friends and family also welcome.
Please bring a little cash with you. There will be a collection during the evening with the money raised going to HANTSAR.
