Ad Hoc Race - Saturday 30 July

This race is to be run by volunteers. If you are logged in, the Duty Roster for this event is visible at the foot of this page. The volunteer OOD has complete freedom to decide the format of this race - pursuit, average lap, elapsed time, or something completely novel. If the format is decided before the day of the race, it will be publicised via the website and Facebook.

Should the race be of a "novel" format, the OOD will be expected to provide a briefing.

The results should be passed to the Racing Secretary in the usual way.

Background

The rescheduling of the 2022 Overnight Cruise to the weekend 12-14 August meant that no sailing was planned for Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 July. The "void" has now been filled as follows:

Saturday 30

• 11:00 - 12:30 Practice Sailing - Volunteer Crew
• 14:30 - 16:30 Ad Hoc Race - Volunteer Crew

Sunday 31

• All Day Ad Hoc Cruise - organised by Cruise Secretary
