VR New Year's Day Regatta

You will find details on how to set up an account on page 2 of the Knowledge Base. You will also find it useful to join the WhatsApp group SSC-VR.
Start Times:
- The first race will "open" at 15:55 and start at 16:00
- Subsequent start will be as soon competitors are ready
Boats:
- Race 1 and 2 - Fareast 28R
- Races 3 and 4 - Laser
- Races 5 and 6 - Nacra 17
Course:
Upwind Medium for all races
Venue:- OOD Choice
Prizes and Scoring:
- The competitor with the lowest aggregate of their four best results (ie up to two discounted) will be awarded the Seafarers New Year's Day Cup.
- There will also be a prize for the best novice as determined by the Commodore.
Communications
WhatsApp is the preferred medium for keeping in touch immediately before, during and after a race. The WhatsApp group SSC-VR is used by competitors who have WhatsApp accounts.
