The Summer Series is the second of the three "Main Series" run each season. Each race in the Spring, Summer, and Autumn Series is sailed as two fleets - Fast and Slow. Results for these races will usually be calculated on the basis of elapsed times although Race Officers may elect to run individual races as Average Lap Time races. In 2026, nine races are scheduled for the Summer Series. For details of the scoring system and the definition of "Fast" and "Slow", refer to the Club's Sailing Instructions.

At the end of the season, awards are presented for the winners and runners up (second and third places) in the Fast and Slow fleets in each of the Spring, Summer, and Autumn series. There are also "Main Series" awards for the winners and runners in the Fast and Slow fleets of the three Series together. To qualify for a "Main Series" prize a helm must have qualified, ie raced, in the Spring, Summer, and Autumn Series.
