This October the Club is running a brief RYA Level 1 (Start Sailing) training course mainly in single handed boats. The course is aimed at complete beginners aged 18 to 68, and those who have not sailed for some time and would like a refresher.
The training will be run over two consecutive Saturdays, as follows:
- Saturday 10th October 0900 1700
- Saturday 17th October 0900 1700

Volunteers
Whether or not you, or your family, are on the course, why not help with the training? It can be fun. There will be a need for patrol boat crew, tractor drivers, beach crew, and shore crew (to keep an eye on the clubhouse, etc). The beach crew should be prepared to get wet.
Would you like to help? You may volunteer to cover the forenoon, the afternoon, or both. If you are already Logged in, you will see the crew list below.
