Extraordinary General Meeting

An Extraordinary General Meeting of the Seafarers Sailing Club will be held at the clubhouse on Wednesday 19 August 2026 commencing at 7:30pm.

The aim of the meeting will be to discuss and approve an amendment to the 2025/2026 budget to fund the employment of an architect. The architect will be tasked to produce plans for the development of the first floor of the clubhouse to provide for a ladies changing room and an extension of the race control structure to provide a classroom space.

In accordance with Rules 10, 67, and 69, each "membership" shall have one vote, 25 is required to achieve a quorum, and voting shall be by a show of hands.

Further details of the first floor development project will be emailed to all members at least one week before the meeting. This will include the proposed timescale and funding for the project. It will also outline consequent changes to the clubhouse.
