2025 RYA Training » RYA Training Inspection

Each year the Club is required to be inspected by the RYA in order to retain its status as a RYA Training Centre. Our Club equipment and facilities will be checked, including all club boats and the SOPs. We will also run a training session alongside the club practice evening and the Inspector will usually get afloat to see how we got on with the actual delivery. The Club's training team will lead but will request the help of a few extra volunteers to make sure all bases are covered. We may also be on the lookout for some 'trainees' in order to demonstrate what we do. More details to follow but please make our Inspecting Officer (Julian Pearson) welcome on the day.
