What better way to take advantage of our superb location and resources than to spend Friday evenings with your family and friends having fun on the water. It will provide another opportunity for those who have recently completed training or feel inexperienced or 'rusty' to work on their sailing skills. Each Friday from 23 May to 8 August inclusive, weather permitting the Club will be open for sailing from 18:00 until 20:30. The bar will open on completion.

All the Club boats and the Gig will be available. There will be a team to support you with sailing hints and tips both ashore and from the Patrol Boat afloat.

Friends who are non-members are welcome provided they are signed into the Visitor's Book. If going afloat they must also sign the Club's insurance indemnity form and be signed in on the sailing sheet. They can be taken out in a member's boat, or if the member is authorised, a Club boat. Non members under the age of eighteen must be in possession of a signed parent's/guardian's authorisation form. Children/Cadets under the age of 11 must have a parent or responsible person on site at all times. It would be appreciated if the parent/responsible person could be in attendance when their child goes into the changing areas.

Although helpers will be more than welcome, the requirement is minimal as a there is a dedicated team to cover the duties of Shore Coordinator, Patrol Boat helm and crew, Tractor Driver, and Bar Crew. However, if you are at a loose end please come down and play, even sail!
