Maintenance Weekend
Maintenance Weekend - Day 2 - Sunday 10 March
It is the weekend where we set ourselves up for a successful year by completing all those jobs we would rather not do when we could be sailing. Please help, even if just for a couple of hours. You do not need to be an expert in DIY.
Please wear suitable clothing and bring any tools that might be useful with you such as brushes, rollers and gardening tools. As usual, on Saturday a long, long list of jobs will be displayed on a board for all to see. Crossing off completed tasks from the list and the bar opening are just two of the highlights of the weekend. Jobs to be tackled will include:
- Clean Club boats and covers
- Paint shutter ends
- Clean outdoor shower
- Cut hedges
- Weed side of clubhouse
- Paint start transit pole
- Check tie downs
- Pressure wash fascias
- Paint men's changing room
- Paint stairs and walls
- Paint blackboard
- Paint entrance door
- Paint family changing door
- Paint tower window shutters
- Paint wet room
- Clean patrol boats
- Check ground tackle
The bar will open at noon.
If you have any questions, please contact Kay, our Rear Commodore.
