    New Year's Day Race - Results and Photographs

    Despite light winds and a grey sky, the New Year's Day race was a success. Seventeen members took to the water in eleven dinghies. In addition to the OOD, DOOD, PB crew and tractor driver, a further seven volunteers (plus one Collie) helped on the beach and in the signal tower.     Christmas Draw a Success

    What an evening we had on Tuesday! First off was a performance of Christmas carols by the Club's own minstrels. The audience joined in. This was accompanied by mulled wine and mince pies ensuring that everyone was in the Christmas spirit. Before the Draw, the Commodore presented Ella Hamer with the trophy for the Best Trainee of 2019. Our Bar Manager, Kevin, then supervised the Christmas Draw. Many of the prizes had

    Bar Opening Over Winter

    For December, January, February and March, Sunday bar opening will be restricted to the first Sunday of each month except when there is a special event eg Commodore's At Home (23rd February). The bar will continue to open from 8pm to 10:30pm on Tuesday evenings except 24th December (Christmas Eve). If in doubt, check Upcoming Events on the website Home page or the Programme .

    Macmillan Coffee Morning a Success

    The Club's coffee morning on Friday 27th was a great success. Twenty-seven adults, accompanied by two "young cadets", braved the strong wind and heavy showers to help devour a tableful of eye-catching and mouth-watering cakes. A total of £123.32 was thrust into the collection box. Helped by gift-aiding, the Club raised approximately £148 for Macmillan Cancer. .. ..     A Great Day at the Club

    On Saturday 14th September we had a very successful day of fun and racing with our 2019 Bart's Bash in the morning and the Edie Sampson Trophy Race in the afternoon. A total of 43 people took part in Bart's Bash racing in 24 dinghies.     SLOSHH Trophy - It's Coming Home

    The annual race between Seafarers, Hill Head and Lee on the Solent sailing clubs was held off Hill Head Sailing Club on Sunday 7th July. The results of this race are now available.     Commodore's Challenge - Update

    The Commodore's Challenge was held at the end of July. The Commodore is grateful to everyone who helped make the event such a success.
