Q. Can I make payments using WebCollect?
WebCollect can issue invoices or requests for payment. It can issue emails acknowledging that payment has been made. However, you cannot use WebCollect to make a payment.
When you book a place at an event or order merchandise, you will be asked how you intend to pay. The options are cash, cheque or bank transfer. The preferred method of payment is by bank transfer.
WebCollect will email you confirmation of your order and request that you pay by your chosen method. Cash or cheque payments go to the Treasurer who may have to give up a lunchtime to bank them. To pay by bank transfer, you arrange payment from your bank account to the Club's bank account. This is usually done online. The Treasurer will know when your payment appears in the Club's account.
Once the Treasurer knows that you have paid, he/she authorises WebCollect to email you a receipt/tickets.
