The high water (Portsmouth) on the day of 07:24 favours a destination towards the Western Solent where the tide will run south until about midday then turn north at low water. As the tidal range on the day is only 1.52m, Clive Dakin, the Cruise Secretary has proposed a cruise to The Lookout Café at Lepe Country park. with departure at 10:00. Clive is open to suggestions of alternative destinations with supporting rationale.
