50th Anniversary Commodores at Home
Letter from the Commodore
On Sunday February 6th Seafarers entertained the Deputy Mayor and his wife, local councillors, commodores of our neighbouring sailing clubs, our own honorary members and selected guests to our anniversary "Commodore's at Home".
Many of our guests paid tribute to our club and commented that we are all so friendly, and that they had enjoyed themselves.
The food was plentiful, delicious and beautifully presented. I would like to thank everyone that contributed to the success of our "At Home".
The cup cakes were a work of art, and looked too good to eat, but I managed to eat a few in the end!
Jenny's cake was just amazing; you need to look at the photographs (see the gallery) to understand just what I mean. What a talented lady.
My job was once again made easy by the brilliant support I received from the rest of the club.
We should be proud, thank you.
Signed - Peter Cox, Commodore.
